Yemen Company for Ghee and Soap Industry has received on Sunday,1 January, 2019 the certificate of conformity of the quality and environment regulations to the requirements of the latest ISO specifications (ISO 9001-2015 – ISO 14001-2015).

It has also obtained the continuity of conformity to the Health and professional Safety System which complies with the requirements of the international standards (OHSAS-18001- 2007), in addition to obtaining a certificate of conformity to the system HACCP certificate .

In a press statement, Eng. Ali Saleh Aqlan - General Manager of the company confirmed that the importance of obtaining the conformity certificates for the systems is not for advertising purposes, as it represents an integrated practical approach for the company in achieving its mission and goal within the framework of an integrated administrative system that includes the implementation of the requirements of ISO 9001 and it is one of the first companies applied to this system since the nineties of the last century, which means matching the requirements of customers as well as confirming the quality of our products in various stages of production processes from raw materials to the final access to the consumer.

In order to provide a safe and healthy working environment that takes into account the requirements of the legislative and legal system related to our industrial activity, it has been keen since 2006 on the application of the environment and the employees safety systems (ISO 14001) which aims to protect the environment, Health and professional Safety system (OHSAS 18001) which aims to protect the employees from different risks and control them that may affect them or their performance in the work environment .

As part of the company's efforts to ensure the safety of food products in the field of the manufacture of Ghee ,Vegetable Oils and its derivatives of Butter and Shortening, the company applies HACCP system " HACCP certificate" .

Adding that perhaps our company is proud of this achievement that it came in exceptional circumstances and great challenges at all levels of national industries in such situations experienced by the country, but with the success of Allah and His help seemed possible and impossible efforts of the faithful employees, considering this achievement a badge of honor for all employees of the company who proved they are at the level of responsibility.
